Hey there, curious human.
I see you’ve wandered onto my corner of the internet. Whether you’re here because you love fantasy books, stumbled in through a glitch in the matrix, or are my mom checking if I finally launched my site (hi, Mom)—welcome!

I’m Aria Moon, fantasy author, chaotic creative, and founder of the Self-Made Collective—a business built from the ashes of a not-so-fun publishing experience. More on that in a minute.

So, who am I?

Glad you asked (or maybe you didn’t, but here we are).
I write fantasy novels filled with magic, shifters, sass, and the occasional emotionally unhinged (but willing to talk about it) alpha. If you like your stories to have claws, curses, secret powers, and a bit of “this a what I want from my soulmate?” energy, then we’re going to get along just fine.

My first novella was written while I was:

• An OB nurse in the military-
• Pregnant with my third child
• Earning my Master’s degree
• Running on zero sleep and 100% caffeine

Clearly, I make questionable life choices…

Why This Blog Exists (and Why You Should Stick Around)

Here’s the deal: I started this blog to bring you behind-the-scenes into the wild ride that is my author life. I’ll share writing updates, sneak peeks of upcoming books, tips for surviving your own magical breakdowns (writer or otherwise), and the messy, exciting journey of building The Self-Made Collective.

The Self-Made Collective was born after a vanity press took my money, crushed my dreams, and left me with a pile of debt and exactly zero support. Instead of staying discouraged, I decided to do what every stubborn fantasy heroine would do: I took my power back and started building something better—not just for me, but for other creatives, too. (Look out for more blogs on this as I navigate the entrepreneur world!)

If you’re into stories, second chances, or rebellious comebacks with sparkly bookish flair, you’ll want to stick around.

Random Aria Facts Before You Go:

• I love making things—planners, stickers, merch, you name it. There’s so much Creative Chaos!
• I’ve recently fallen down the rabbit hole of plant parenthood. It’s soothing… until you realize you’ve spent your grocery budget at the garden center… Don’t tell my husband!
• I believe in community over competition. And also in the power of tea, late-night writing sprints, and morally gray love interests (Klaus or Damon, anyone??).
